Apollos Goyol, PhD

Dr. Apolos Goyol has a wealth of knowledge and experience in education. Dr. Goyol graduated from Western Michigan University, receiving his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Administration with a Specialty in Evaluation, and Research and Measurement. Dr. Goyol also has degrees in Vocational and Technical Education and various certificates in leadership development and academic instruction.
Dr. Goyol has served as an Associate Professor, Corporate Consultant, and Facilitator of Leadership Development. His interests lie in leadership, team building, critical thinking, research, organization, and executive functioning training and facilitating. Dr. Goyol is an accomplished author and has published several articles and books on various educational subjects, such as mentoring, strategic planning, and representing underprivileged students.
Dr. Goyol lived in Nigeria, Africa, and and extensive training in liberal arts studies and values one-on-one teaching and learning with students. His goal is to partner with students and families, helping them achieve success in the academic arena through executive functioning studies, academic coaching, and leadership student/parent training.
Dr. Goyol will be teaching leadership courses to families within our local community and will also be working on programs to help those students who need vocational training due to intellectual disabilities, along with providing academic coaching to our local students.
Dr. Goyol loves being with his family in Morrisville in his free time. His daughter graduated from Virginia Tech and is employed at Duke; his son is a recent graduate of NC State and works at Lear Corporation in Kenansville.
