Ana Newsome is an illustrator and art teacher represented by The Bright Agency. She specializes in children’s books, publishing, editorial illustration, and visual storytelling, creating vibrant and joyful artwork inspired by color, imagination, and humor. Since 2020, Ana has worked with clients including *The Washington Post*, Penguin Random House, Hulu, and Scholastic, and has illustrated more than 15 books. She earned her BFA in Illustration from Jacksonville University in 2021.

Alongside her professional illustration career, Ana is passionate about art education and helping students discover their creativity. She has taught students ranging from young children to the college level and believes art can help students build confidence, curiosity, and their own creative voice. She enjoys bringing her professional experience in illustration, storytelling, color, and creative exploration into the classroom.

Outside of teaching and illustration, Ana enjoys playing video games, visiting local cafés for tea, and taking long walks with her cocker spaniel and furry studio assistant, Charlie.
