Krista L. Prince has worked for over a decade as an instructor and administrator in the education setting. She holds a doctorate in Educational Studies from UNC-Greensboro, an M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from NC State University. She brings a compassionate heart, collaborative approach, and creative style to her work with learners and families.
Krista is passionate about teaching and learning. She offers support in academic recovery/coaching, advocacy, learning science, leadership education, college exploration, college navigation, and school to career counseling. Krista enjoys working with a wide variety of students and ages. Seeing the potential in every learner, Krista works hard to ensure that her students receive quality support that will enhance their academic performance and attitude towards school.
Outside of work, Krista enjoys practicing yoga, reading, listening to podcasts, traveling, exploring new coffee shops and local restaurants, watching crime dramas, and dog-sitting. Krista grew up in Baltimore, MD, and she is a huge fan of the Orioles and Ravens! However, she became a hockey fan after relocating to NC, so Krista loves to attend games and cheer on the Canes.
